Looking for simple, no-prep PowerPoint lessons to warmly welcome your youngest online learners into English? I’ve got you covered.
This second Unit (My Family) will help younger learners to be familiar with simple English structures while they learn English in a fun and interactive way. Unit 2 also includes 5 lessons os 25-30 minutes each, with the possibility of expanding with some extra content included in the lesson.
Highlights of this Unit
- Consistency & Repetition: Each lesson begins with a familiar song and uses the same template, helping early learners feel comfortable and ready to participate.
- Thematic Progression: The lessons build on the family theme from parents to grandparents to siblings, creating a sense of coherence across the unit and being a familiar topic for the young students.
- Phonics & Vocabulary Integration: Pairing vocabulary with corresponding initial letters (M, D, G, B) supports early phonics awareness.
- Simple Sentence Frames: Repeated structures like “This is my …” make it easier for learners to grasp grammar patterns early on.
- Rich, Multi-sensory Learning: PowerPoint format with visuals, songs, and interactive practice helps keep young children engaged and supports varying learning styles.
